Aircraft Maintance Engineering (AME)

We are approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, Government of India for this course. Course is conducted as per syllabus and schedule provided by the DGCA. This course meets requirements of International Civil Aviation Organisation and European Aviation Safety Agency for working in foreign Airlines
  • The Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are the backbone of Aviation Industry. They draw attractive salaries and are respected for their professionalism, dedication and hard work.
  • They are highly trained to repair and certify modern sophisticated aircraft.
  • All technical work on the Aircraft is carried out under Authority of a DGCA licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. AME is responsible to certify the Aircraft to be Airworthy before each flight.

  1. License A1 :- Category A1 licence holder to issue certificates for release to service after minor scheduled line maintenance and simple defect rectification within the limits of maintenance tasks for Aeroplane with jet engine.
  2. License A4:- Category A1 licence holder to issue certificates for release to service after minor scheduled line maintenance and simple defect rectification within the limits of maintenance tasks for Helicopter with piston engine.
  3. License B1.1:- Category B1.1 license holder to issue the certificate for the release to service of aeroplane with jet engine.
  4. License B1.4:- Category B1.4 license holder to issue the certificate for the release to service of helicopter with piston engine.
  5. License B2:- Category B2 license holder to issue the certificate for the release to service the avionics and electrical system of aircrafts.

Course Duration

License A1 & A4:-

The duration of the course is 1 year academic programme and other 1 year there will be training with airlines, MRO etc. to cover a total of 800 Hours training. At the time of training student will be provided with stipend..

License B1.1, B1.4 & B2:-

The duration of the course is 2 year academic programme and practical training with airlines, MRO etc. The stipend will be provided to the students.
