Therefor Aircraft Maintenance Engineer has to take the responsibility for the technical safely of the aircraft as per the Civil Aviation Requirement, stipulated by the DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India.

The demand for maintenance engineers in the Aviation industry is always high. The pace of new aircraft development, systems and technology has never been faster. Large number of foreign airline and Maintenance, Repair and Overhauling Organization (MROs) as entering into Indian market for operation. So this industry will offer a myriad of exciting career opportunities for people with knowledge and acumen. The decision to study Aircraft Maintenance Engineering will lead you on a career path of opportunities including planning, technical instruction, quality control and quality assurance and finally sky will be the limit for your growth and prosperity.

Aircraft Technology range from the simple gas burner and sandbags of a hot air balloon of the carbon filter and fully digital, advanced systems of modern Jet planes. Now-a-day, when aircraft manufactured by first world countries are flying with a speed many time faster than sound, we, the common people of India, are hardly aware of the most dynamic industry of the day.

Over the last seven year, there has been a paradigm shift in Indian Aviation Industry. With the opening of sky and emerging opportunities, the growth of this sector is increasing at a scorching pace. While Indian Aviation is spreading its wing and breaking material boundaries, more and more well trained aviation related profession would be required to serve the booming sector. So aviation related training has become very essential to generate human resources with core competency and strong knowledge base.

The Aviation related training can be classified into two prominent branches. The Flying Branch and Engineering Branch. Flying is the better known of these two branches. We are well aware of pilots who fly the Aircraft but least known are the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs), behind the flying machine, dedicated to keep the aircraft safe and in airworthy condition. For ever aircraft you see in flight, there are AMEs back in the hanger who have worked to ensure that the aircraft is safe to fly.
